INVITATION
GENERAL:
* The trial will be judged by the flags. For qualification per category, the year of birth is meritorry. Any contestant competes in his age category exclusively. In case of insufficient number of competitors (minimum 3 contestants per each category), the level groups might be merged; but NOT in case of different age categories;
* Male and Female perform separately according to gender. The matches will be conducted based on elimination by flags. Performers compete with their belts. As first the first contestant with red belt is called, following by the second, the blue belt contestant. Full repechage will be implemented.
1. KATA INDIVIDUAL
Competitors perform only pre-school Taikyoku or school Heian, Gekisai, Heiwa, Pinan, Shoho kata.
The only exception is the year 2002 - 2001 3rd level, where also master kata can be performed. Implementation of kata by levels:
1st level ….. 9-8-7 kyu
2nd level….. 6-5-4 kyu
3rd level ….. 3 kyu and higher
2. KATA TEAM
Men's and women's teams, contesting separately. Younger and older team can perform only pre-school or school kata. At the finals kata can be repeated.
